Late September and October presented us with the challenge of what to do with all this honey! Johns health problems from earlier this year meant that we hadn't really the time to attempt to equal our successes at last years local honey show so this year we will have to let someone else win!

Final job of the year is to put the mouseguards in place

Weekends were spent extracting, and bottling up….. By the end of the month we reckon that we have about 150lbs of honey…. How are we going to sell all this!

A note in the local newsagent window did not have any effect but a sign in our front room window is at least attracting some passing trade!

Paul & Lynn made one last trip to Flaxton to retrieve the feeders and to settle them down for the Winter.
