Autumn 2007

Dad a Paul went to Flaxton to see the bees there. The two hives remaining were prepared for Winter.

But what a sight met them in the hives with stored frames. Wax moth everywhere!! We really do have aproblem at Flaxton. The boxes were sterilised on site with a blow torch and lots of frames were bagged up in sealed bags to take home to clean and sterilise.
